Hidden

Breath, let me carry you away
to our little piece of rural heaven
tucked into the urban chaos in which
we find ourselves.
It’ s not too hard to get there
Just colour the dusk a deep navy
blue. Pretend I’m next to you.
None of this makes sense it doesn’t
have to. Close your eyes and see it!
From the green belt balcony,
the high-rises look so magical
Let them burst to dust. A ponderosa
canopy with the ruby red wooden trees.
A sky of diamonds just for us.
And yet, all this beauty bathed in
mahogany. I’d never leave

if it were up to me.
